Make your own beautiful prayer bead necklace at this special intention setting workshop. Malas are used for meditation, and contain 108 semi-precious gemstones. 108 is recognized as a sacred number by several cultures and ancient religions.
In the workshop, you will set a personal intention for your stones during a guided meditation, Then get instruction on how to knot a beautiful and personally meaningful mala to take home and use to recognize your intention, and reaffirm it every time you meditate.
Stacey Mulvey was apprenticed into teaching the ancient art of mala making by Ky Gabriel of Peacock Arts. Stacey has directly experienced the power of mala making, The intention she set during her first mala-making experience is what set her on a path to creating and expanding Marijuasana.
The price of the mala is included with ticket price. You select your own beads and thread color, and they must be ordered in advance to the workshop. Because they require special ordering, be sure to register early and begin personalizing your mala right away.
