Yoga with Marijuasana is distinct from your typical yoga class. For starters, there is zero judgment or stigma about your personal holistic cannabis routine, in fact we will speak openly about it and encourage you to continue. Education on how cannabinoids support your practice is layered throughout the class design.
The approach we have to yoga is not one of dogma and rigidity around whether you're "doing it right". Marijuasana offers anatomically-based and secular instruction in mechanical movement and meditative practice.
Group classes and individual private lessons are available. Online video instruction is offered via download, and by video call.
Marijuasana teaches inclusion and acceptance towards cannabis and it's enthusiasts, and extends encouragement for anyone considering CBD and yoga as integral to a healthy lifestyle.
Do a length Marijuasana class from the comfort of your home. Follow along to Stacey Mulvey's instruction in hatha yoga, and sequences designed to relieve pain, in crease mobility and strength. Verbal cues full of rich imagery makes these easy to follow along to, while the in-depth anatomically based movement instruction, means accessibility for entry-level yogis and deeper practice for the advanced practitioners.
Group Yoga Classes
Group classes are pop up style events, typically over a weekend on Saturdays and Sundays. There are two types of classes: CBD or Cannabis. Cannabis classes are private residences in order to stay compliant with the law. CBD (hemp-only) classes may be held anywhere, in any city in the world because hemp is legal, and contains less than 0.03% of THC. Click below for a schedule.
Private Yoga Lessons
For those that are rehabilitating from injury, or simply prefer one-on-one instruction, you have the option of receiving a private or duet lesson in your home, or in Stacey's home studio in Las Vegas. Yoga Class FAQ
What is Marijuasana?
Marijuasana is an "infused" yoga class. In other words, we consume CBD via hemp extracts and tea. In states where it is now legal for adults to possess, grow and share cannabis recreationally, we incorporate that as well.
I'm not flexible/I've never done yoga before
Then this class is perfect for you! Marijuasana lacks pretension, preaching, and impossible poses. Many current now-regular clients practiced yoga for the first time in Marijuasana, and experienced tremendous benefit.
What should I bring?
Please bring your own yoga mat, water, towel, consumption device and cannabis.
Is this class only for CERTAIN PEOPLE?
As long as you are an adult over the age of 21, all genders, ethnicities, body types, religions and age groups are welcome and encouraged at Marijuasana.
Cannabis is known for it’s medicinal properties. Among other things, it facilitates movement, treats pain, and reduces inflammation in the body. Concentrating your attention on your internal state, along with the timelessness that cannabis has been known to evoke, creates the right conditions for the yoga practitioner to enter a flow state.
What Should I expect?
Complimentary tea, and hemp extracts infused with legal, non-psychoactive CBD (cannabidiol) will made available to all participants. Hemp extracts are provided by Bluebird Botanicals, and tea is provided by the Hemp Kettle Tea Company.
Please note: yoga includes physical movements as well as an opportunity for relaxation, stress, re-education and relief of muscular tension. As is the case with any physical activity, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. If you experience any pain or discomfort, you are expected to listen to your body, discontinue the activity, and ask for support from the instructor. You assume full responsibility for any and all damages, which may incur through participation.
Neither yoga, or cannabis are not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. Yoga is not recommended and is not safe under certain medical conditions. In order to participate in class, you will be required to sign a form that affirms that a licensed physician has verified your good health and physical condition to participate in such a fitness program. In addition, you will make the instructor aware of any medical conditions or physical limitations before class. If you are pregnant, become pregnant or are post-natal or post-surgical, your participation verifies that you have your physician’s approval to participate. You also affirm that you alone are responsible to decide whether to practice cannabis yoga and participation is at your own risk.
